Hi my name is Ellie, and a few years ago I was in the same position you might be in today. Natural beauty products? Organic? What exactly does all that mean??

This website is a collection of what I've discovered about natural beauty the past few years. My goal here is to get you thinking more about what you are putting into your body. Specifically the things we unconciously put in our bodies on a daily basis. There are so many chemicals in the world today and so little is known about how they are affecting our bodies. Cosmetics and skin care products are no exception.

We see cancer rates climbing and chronic diseases becoming more common - how many diseases and condition are related to environmental factors? Are certain "safe" products really ok to use?

The world is still discovering the effects of modern day materials and chemicals on our bodies and the environment. We're starting to realize that products with natural ingredients are not only better for the environment, but are better for ourselves as well! Green building materials, organic food and other products are starting to become mainstream. But we still need be careful with labels and advertisements.

I hope this website helps you answer a few questions and make informed decisions on natural beauty! This website is my creation with a little help from a few others! I created it with Site Build It! I'm a twenty something currently living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

In my free time I enjoy reading, hanging out with family and friends, watching hockey games (specifically the Pittsburgh Penguins!), doing yoga, surfing the web and traveling whenever possible!
