Giovanni Hair Care - A Treat for Your Tresses!

Giovanni is one of my favorite brands of hair care products. Reasonably priced and made from high quality ingredients, these products are a treat for your hair!

Here's a little review of the things I've tried and why you should consider trying some of the products in this amazing line:

Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo

Although not as good as my favorite Aubrey Organics Green Tea Shampoo, this is a very close second. Giovanni's Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo is somewhat of a mouthful to say, but offers a lot for your hair!

The primary ingredient in this shampoo is Tea Tree Oil (diluted with water). Tea Tree Oil is great for those with dry hair, dandruff or those looking for a clarifying shampoo.

I will admit I bought this shampoo to get rid of some build up from a styling product. I was only going to use it for times when my hair felt extra oily, but I found it was a great shampoo for the winter months when my hair is dryer than normal!

Another great thing about this shampoo is the fact that it does not contain any parabens, sulfates or other harmful ingredients. Most of the ingredients are organic. It also smells amazing! Tea Tree has a very invigorating smell, so if you shower with this first thing in the morning, it'll help wake you up!

At a reasonable price, this shampoo is worth a try if you're looking for a new, natural shampoo!

L.A. Hold Hair Spritz Styling Mist

I don't usually use hair sprays, but every once in a while I use one. For a long time growing up I couldn't stand to have hair spray used on my hair. It would gage and choke me so much! As I got older, I vowed never to use those nasty aerosols!

So what to use as a safe hair spray? In Whole Foods one day I came across Giovanni's L.A. Hold Hair Spritz. A little pricey, but I thought I would give it a try. After all, natural hair sprays can be hard to come by!

I've been very pleased with this product. Not only does it do a good job of holding your hair in place, but it doesn't irritate my eyes or mouth when I apply it!

Made from natural ingredients of course and no animal testing. Also there is very little alcohol in this product - it won't dry out your hair nearly as much as some other products.

Say good bye to stinky aerosols and try out L.A. Hold Hair Spritz!

Giovanni Overall

For the most party Giovanni makes excellent hair care products. You get salon quality products that are vegan and contain organic ingredients. Most of the products can be found for a decent price as well.

A word of caution though - they do use some ingredients in their products that are questionable. Parabens among other things can be found in some of their styling products.
